I have the OEM accessory cargo cover. It seems to do the job.
Here's the Toyota part# PT311-89100
It's available from Amazon, and online Toyota parts dealers.
I'm sure your Toyota dealer could get it too.

I have the OEM one. Works great. There may be a different one for cars with three row seating.

The stock one is meh. It leaves gaps in front and behind plus it's kind of a pain to use.

I just got the stock one. Ordered from a dealer online, was around 100.
Like others, it’s ok… tension could be better, both on the tail that mounts and the tension on the actual cover. It leaves a gap up front but if you recline the seats it’s fine. Gap in back though by hatch, not terrible though

I put on a dark window decal=you know the American flag one. I also keep a couple of surplus US Army wool blankets back there.

Here is what I did back in 2014 to fill in the gaps. Still working fine.
Tonneau cover, finished what Toyota started

I got the OEM one at a great discount...and wouldn't do it again. Really low build quality (constantly having to trim threads that come loose from the sides) and as others have said poor coverage. Also god forbid the tiniest bit of dust gets in there; no amount of cleaning can get it to not squeak on anything other than paved roads.
If I had a go again I'd buy something like the raingler cover someone posted earlier. Just hard for me to justify the cost when I already invested in an ok solution.

Handle fell off mine as well after about a year and a half. Cheap little plastic dowel pin inside sheared.

The one by Kuangka fills in the gap between the seat back.

My handle ripped off as well. It's also a pain to get to latch in especially one handed. My wife's previous ride, 2006 Highlander, had much better build quality to the cover and worked like butter. Even my previous Xterra had a better one. One of my few disappointments in the 4runner.
