How many 65+ (elderly by definition) 5th gen 4Runner owners on this forum?
This is embarrassing and rewarding at the same time. How many of you are 65+ on this forum?
I am 65, turning 66 in a few months and retiring also. Here is a pic of myself and my 8 year old from a couple months ago.
Doing more mods to do more off roading and camping next year. My son loves it.
Edit: I set this up as a poll, but it didn’t show. This would have lessened the concern for us older guys.

My kids say I'm elderly, probably because I ignore them and they think I can't hear. However, I'm actually I'm 53

Over 65
I just turned 75 in September. I've been on the forum for years and I am on my second 4 Runner. We live in Louisiana and have a vacation home in Colorado so we enjoy off-roading in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona.

Our 2021 4Runner is primarily my wife’s daily driver. She is 66. I’m 57. We had a 2020 4Runner since new.

‘18 SR5. Stock. 70. Retired over a decade. It replaced a ‘02 Tacoma TRD 4x4, which I gave to my grandson. I used to do a lot of 4-wheeling and camping in the back of the Tacoma and former 4x4 trucks. But too much arthritis pain is no fun off road. Sill trail during hunting season. Live in a rural area with dirt roads which in winter are snow covered. So the 4Runner gets plenty of front axle exercise.

I'm 71. I do all the maintenance and installed a mild 1-inch front lift. Otherwise, this 4Runner is stock as my wife drives it most of the time.

68 here. First 4R, 2019 OR, after having owned 3 2nd gen Tacomas, several (lost count, 6+/-) 1st gen Tacomas, one of which is currently in the driveway.
The 4R is the best of the bunch.

Our 1999 SR5 will turn 24 in March of next year. Our 2020 ORP goes off standard warranty this November.

Well, I actually can’t hear good at all anymore. My high frequencies are shot from shooting civilian shooting matches with my NM M1A when I was young. My wife says I have selective hearing. I really do need hearing aids now.
