Check out Longo Toyota in SoCal if u would consider a road trip. Literally the largest and oldest Toyota dealership in USA.

Thanks. I’m using Longo here in north DFW. Just bought a Tacoma from them last month, good experience. Just waiting to see what their plan is to get me a 4Runner. If I don’t hear back soon, going with plan B.

That was plan B. I gave them a deposit yesterday, and I’m on the list. And now, the wait begins anew.

I wait listed with them for about 6 weeks. They had a few come in but I was specifically looking for the Lunar Rock. Ended up finding one unclaimed in Granbury. Had to dicker with them some and ended up a little over MSRP.

So I made some calls on New Year Eve and got lucky. Dealership a little under 100 miles away had one inbound that met our min specs, no market adjustment, no addendums, so I jumped on it. Picking it up Saturday.
So wife is curious, do the 2023’s have auto start?

Nice. So what were your min specs?
Talked to my dealer saturday to determine what they were going to give me for my trade and I asked if there was any update on the status of my 4runner. It was scheduled to be in port saturday so I'm still a couple weeks out.
I haven't bought anything for it yet but I did have them order tires. Unfortunately the 275's I wanted were on backorder so I'm staying stock size for now. Probably won't lift it until next year anyway and tires generally only last me 2 years so...

I've been a dedicated Jeep guy since 2005, and I've built and wheeled them all. I'll always love my old LJ. That being said, I test drove a Gladiator and loved it. Then I laughed at the salesman as I walked out of the stealership. They wanted $58k for a new Mojave model. I wanted another lite truck, as I sold my LJ and had bought a Tacoma TRD Off road Premium. After 2 years, I just couldn't deal with the Taco anymore, as the seats sat so low, and it seriously bothered my spine.
Sold the Taco and bought a new 2022 4runner TRD ORP, and never looked back. I absolutely love my 4Runner. I had the suspension gutted pretty much right away for the 3" Icon / OME coil over lift, new wheels and BFG ATKO2. My Yota rides like a luxury vehicle now, has a command view of the road, and laughs at Inland Northwest winters. I should have bought this thing in the beginning, and plan on having it forever.

TRD Off Road Premium with moonroof, any color but black, silver, or Lime Rush.

Great idea!

The only trail we ran the entire trip that was somewhat challenging, was Seven Mile Rim, but a lightly modified 4Runner would have been fine.
So, all that said, we are going to test drive a slightly used TRD Off Road tomorrow morning. If the wife likes it, we are going to “order” one, or find one in the pipeline closest to her desires. The dealership will sell a TRD Off Road Premium or a TRD Pro with no market adjustment, but the Pro would be a 8-12 month wait. So, we will go with the Off Road Premium. Flexible on color, no black, no Lime Rush, moonroof required, but what else should we get? Is KDSS a must have? How about the sliding rear cargo tray, worth it, or not necessary? Any advice is appreciated.
*EDIT* Got lucky and found a ORP inbound in about a week.

Before making and decisions on the model of Jeep I'd check here for the latest Jeep models. We put together some helpful guides and fixes JEEP Models

OP's last post on this thread was over 18 months ago.
They probably decided on a vehicle and purchased it in that time.
