Front rubber fender well splash shields squeaking

I always hear a faint squeaking up front. I found a thread here where someone mentioned it's the front rubber fender well splash shields. My splash shields aren't torn but sure enough they are loose enough that they squeak if I move them with my hand.

My question is, do the aftermarket splash shields (e.g. Rad Rubber Design) solve that issue? Any other solution to stop the squeaking?

I used rubber washers from Lowes, silent ever since. Cost was around $2.

I purchased a roll of thicker rubber from Grainger and replaced the front passenger side one that seems to keep tearing every few years. Also made the replacement splash guard slightly larger for better coverage. I may end up replacing all of them this way. This may be a solution for your problem as well.

dont get the Rad Rubber Design. my original ones i had on my car for 4 years squeaked. i ended up buying the Rad Rubber ones, didnt change a thing and they have cracks all over them in just a years time. while the factory ones still looked good.
