TPMS question

I have 2021 TRDOR and I just swapped my summer tires and wheels with my winter set, both wheel sets are equpped with factory TPMS sensors.

After 15 minutes of driving around the sensors came to life and started to display pressures. However all pressure readings are off ( 4 psi to low ) as verified by a calibrated external pressure meter.

Do I need to reset / recalibrate the TPMS sensors with the tires inflated at the normal 32 psi for the system read correctly ??

I would watch it for a while and if still the same (4psi low) on all wheels then just do the math (add 4 psi to the values posted) for the Winter. Or ignore the readings and just check with a gauge periodically. It's not worth the time IMHO to mess with it.

Is your external pressure meter right? lol

My head unit measures air pressure and temp through the factory TPMS and it displays 2 PSI higher than actual external measured PSI. Which is fine.

Temperature will also effect your PSI warmer tire the higher the PSI.
