34x10.50r17 Toyo AT3
First thread here and wanted to share. I debated back and forth for months before deciding and didn't find much info on these.
Toyo lists them as D load at 55lbs. Measure 33.5x10.6 running small like the BFG version.
Best part, and my initial interest they are sub 300 to 315 unlike the BFGs over 450 a tire.
I debated back and forth on 255/80, 275/70, and 285/70.
Searching here and elsewhere couldn't find much on them so went for them. I got them 298/ea from simpletire and shipped to a local installer.
For reference, I do have TRD Pro shocks with Eibach springs for the Pro and a 1/4 top plate spacer. Put me right at 22.25" in the front up from about 20 before. Back is right about 24 with slight rake.
I also installed JBA arms and Pro wheels. I removed my mudflaps in the front in advance and did the fender liner mod as well.
Post balance and alignment (3 degrees+) I have no rub. It clears the body mount by about 1/2" and the tires clear the arms by about 1"
Gave the height and width I was looking for. I plan to put a 255/80 as the spare underneath to use as spare only
Here are a few pics. Also have a YouTube link discussing as well.
I like them so far. Obviously are more of a 33 than a 34 but drives fine with stock gears. Can feel it off the line some but not really once moving.

were toyo's online measurements of 33.6 tall and 10.6 wide precise?

Did you need to run and wheel spacers?

Out of curiosity, what made you choose these over 255/80? Those were going to be my next pair (AT3 as well).

according to Toyo site, the 34 is taller and wider. i bet the D rating rides a bit softer then the E.
Seems like an ideal size without having to run an e rated 255/80

Makes sense, I just can't justify a tire size that I can't run in the spare well unfortunately.

I think it'll fit. My 285/75/17s would fit. They're 34.0. although I actually used a 285/70/17 as the spare, but either one would fit in there.

That looks like a really great tire size option. It was kind of the tire I always thought would be about perfect. I ran 285/75/17s and they were very similar in size. Just heavier and a bit taller and wider. But overall I really liked the size.
It's nice that there's so many options in this size range now. Not long ago there was almost nothing between the 33 and 35 sizes.

Unmounted yes, pretty spot on. Mounted and with a load, more closer to 32.5-33
By far run small! Width on the pro 7” wheels is right around 10.5 though

Yep, that was the 3 main reasons. Slightly tall (not sure it actually is though in reality), wider, and D load
The final was that I haven’t seen anyone else local with them. Just wanted something different I suppose

Somewhere, referring to the BFG 34x10.50, someone said it would fit. I think it would but even if it did, am going to look at getting a 255/80
It’s very close to the same height, but a little bit more narrow so it should give a little more ground clearance underneath… I guess only by about 1/2 at best. I don’t plan to rotate it the mix either just use it only as a spare

BFGs are notorious for running small so even though they say 34" I guarantee they are a "large" 33".
