Ironman Raid tubular rear bumper
I am interested in this bumper for my 4Runner. Has any member installed or purchased one?
There is a 25% discount for Black Friday and free shipping. 119 lbs and fully crash safety tested and airbag compatible tubular style bumper to suit 2010+ Toyota 4Runner.
I am aware that this does not come with a spare tire carrier, which I can possibly live without.
With the Black Friday special I could get this for $675 including free shipping. Not including taxes.

Saw someone posted this on the book of faces. Also said that it did not come with instructions.

That is a nice looking bumper. No instructions is kind of lame, but appears easy to figure out except the trimming of original plastic to fit, but they did it, looks good IMO.

Thanks for that video. My truck is black, so it gives me a good idea what it would look like on mine.

They must of forgot. I need to call them to see if they actually do include instructions. I like that you do not have to cut out the rear crossmember and it has been safety tested to be airbag compatible. With the Black Friday special, $749 seems like a good price with a pair of cube lights included. Free shipping also.

I spoke with Ironman customer service today and they said they currently have a 4Runner in the shop that they are documenting the install to create and include instructions. I misunderstood and missed that for oversized heavy parts there is a $100 freight charge. Their Black Friday special ends at the end of November. One of my concerns is getting rear mud flaps on. He is going to check with the installers on that issue.

It looks like you end up with a cut edge of the bumper cover just hanging out in space ?
They didn't open the hatch in that video but you can see it in there. Cool bumper though. How much does it weight?

Good question. Is their replacement plate strong enough to stand on?
Bumper weight with recovery points: 119lbs

I found out there is an adapter on the Raid bumper that allows the use of the rear mud flaps.

Love it! Matches my C4 Hybrid bumper and was looking to see if anybody had put together an install document. I don't trust my "cutting" skills enough to just figure it out.

That is why I passed even with the 25% off. They are working on a 4Runner now putting together instructions. Once they have good instructions and some others have installed and reviewed it then I will look again.

Same. I found the bumper online, and the one review was about no instructions. So I searched here to see if there was a good or any write-up. Even with great directions on the C4 front bumper my cuts with the angle grinder were pretty rough, and I had to add some trim to dress it up.
