Help confirming iDatalink & adapters for Pioneer HU? 2022 ORP Non-JBL w/ MTM

Hi All,

I am planning on installing a Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX head unit (9" floating) in my 22 ORP in the next month or two. Hoping to get some info and confirmation from anyone that has swapped in a new HU to a 2020+ vehicle with MTM (360 view / side cameras).

Crutchfield's site and staff gave my slightly different answers than iDatalink's.... so not 100% confident

Based on my research, here is what I have in my carts:
- Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX w Factory Adapter Harness from Crutchfield
- iDatalink Maestro RR
- iDatalink HRT03 T-Harness
- iDatalink PI01 Pioneer/iData Adapter harness*

What else will I need in order to retain factory GPS, customization options, 360 camera functions and steering wheel button mapping capability?

Planning a weekend install-a-thon of my new system and really want to avoid getting hung up because I dont have the correct adapters for OE integration.

TIA - cheers

Curious why you’d ditch the ‘22 infotainment system for aftermarket?

The OE unit, while the best of the factory 5th gen options, still offers a crummy source signal to build a system around. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours compensating for the OE unit's issues. Im dumping a decent amount of $ into this system and have been planning it for some time - ideally I would keep the OE unit, but ultimately an aftermarket unit will do everything the OE one does (and more), while offering a FLAT 6ch RCA out to my DSP.

Ill likely sell the OE unit once it is removed. Hoping to drive this vehicle for the coming decade+

Cheers

40-LX11 antenna adapter
99-8227chg or 99-8227s mounting kit (scosche kit not compatible on 2020+)
AXUSB-TY6 to retain OEM usb port

If it matters, Kenwood or JVC would give dynamic parking lines based on steering wheel position

Enjoy your new set up!

Thank you much for that info, Superjet. Did not have the USB or antenna adapters on my radar

Honestly I would have preferred a Kenwood/JVC unit (and Crutchfield would prefer me to buy one) over the Pioneer unit - I am just too OCD about the aesthetics. The Pioneer 9" units offer the most unobtrusive and OE-like look compared to JVC/Kwood. Hoping there are more 9" units offered in the coming years - fingers crossed for a modular floating 9" with optical out from someone, sometime soon...

Thanks - this prompted me to check the maestro site and I see that they've finally got 4runner support. Off I go!

I detest entune - worst UI ever, and the screen sucks. Between that and only wired carplay, getting rid of it is high on my to-do list.

Bonus is that it'll let me pull the DCM fuse and still have a hands free solution.
