Cleaning SoftTex Seats

2023 4Runner TRD ORP with (Almost leather) SoftTex guts.
Add Poodle to mix and what is the best way to clean them?

I use a microfiber and a Tupperware container with warm water and a couple cap fulls of Murphy's Oil. Leaves a great scent without leaving everything too shiny. My 2014's interior looks like the day I got it.

I tried some other leather cleaners and they all made the material too slippery and / or shiny. Kind of like a tire soaked in Armor All.

Microfiber and water is probably all you need.

My system:

Vacuum --->Damp Microfiber ---> 303 Protectant

The owners manual says water with a mild soap.

From other threads here on the forum, big fan of the Mothers VLR cleaner - made for synthetics like the Softex. 15 months+ with a couple of doggos and my seats still look brand new.

I use Chemical Guys Sprayable Leather Cleaner and Conditioner with a microfiber. I love it. Makes the car smell amazing and the seats nice and soft(ex).

I just cleaned mine yesterday with Adam's Leather and Interior cleaner and a microfiber and am happy with the results.

I’ve been using this one from chemical guys which smells good, not shiny and can be used on windows too.

I use Murphy's oil soap as well on all interior surfaces. Excellent for any marks on headliner as well. This will keep vinyl from drying out from chemical cleaners. one or two small cap fulls is all you need. Been using it for many years.

I've been using the same stuff for awhile now and it works great on everything IMO. Not too shiny or slippery like others, and has a good smell that isn't too over powering. Good stuff.

Mother’s VLR works good and doesn’t leave the seats shiny or slippery.
