Changing seat belt color

Has anyone changed out their stock (black) seat belts for an upgraded color? Recommendations? Thoughts?

I'm thinking of changing the belts to red to match the TRD PRO red stitching. I would want to do all five. Would love to see some pix.

THX

never seen it done. I like the idea though but tread carefully. if you replace the belt and the install is not done right and someone gets hurt or worse in an accident, you may need a personal injury defense lawyer. seat belts and air bags I won't touch on my own

Only OEM factory multi colour belts as options i have seen have been through Porsche. Likely somebody sells the webbing somewhere. Not a bad idea you got there, I wouldnt mine in say purple or something loud..

Yes, SafetyRestore is exactly who I was looking at. You send them the entire seat belt assemblies, they replace, and you reinstall the assemblies, never messing with the innards yourself.

You typically only see crazy seatbelt colors in super expensive race style cars. I figure why not. I will wait till I don't need my T4R for 2 weeks (going on a vacation) b/c the vehicle will not have seatbelts, and will post results w/ pix.

I've done mine in 3 of my Porsches and one of my Volkswagens. I would love to do blue in my 4Runner I have a white and blue theme going on but my newly acquired step kids would have the blue looking black in a matter of hours. Changing seat belt colorChanging seat belt color

I think this pattern would look good in the ORP/PRO interiors without being overbearing.

I really like this pattern. Was it a reference from a website where one can purchase?

Ferrari Red

Ok, I did it. I think it looks ok. It wasn't worth the expense or hassle. I also wouldn't believe SafetyRestore. Their website guarantees 24 hour turn around time & 100% satisfaction guarantee.

You know it took them 8 days to do it. When I called and complained they said it took 8 days b/c there was a weekend in there. I told them I was totally dissatisfied with the time b/c I had to rent a car for the weekend so they gave me 25% back.
