Arrow VIDEOS & PICS: Kumho MT71 "Pizza Cutter" Tires

I have been running the MT71s from Kumho Tire for the past 28,000 miles. As a mud terrain tire, they aren't that loud at first. However, they are starting to get louder, and I don't expect to push them past 35,000 miles.

All that being said, I have definitely gotten some heavy use out of them in mud, snow, ice (not the best tire for ice), rain, and dry roads. The only time they really disappointed me was on ice. Honestly, that is to be expected. The hard rubber compound, large treads, and minimal siping make it much more rounded for anything but ice. I was surprised at how well they do on the highway in the rain though! I will probably go back to AT tires next year, but if anyone is looking for a serious off road tire - I can definitely recommend the MT71s.

I did a review of the tires a few weeks after we bought them...

...and a few weeks back I saved this dash cam footage of an emergency braking event with 25,000 miles on the tires...

Yeah... I'm far too abusive to my wheels to pay extra money for aftermarket rims that aren't as beefy as the stock wheels.

I have a total of 10 Trail Wheels (all with the original gray inset) - 5 on the 4Runner, 3 on the Trailer, and 2 spares at home. There isn't a single one of those 10 that exists without visible trail damage.
