Washer fluid relocation kits

Just wanted to see what everyone is running who have done this mod. I’m needing to do this ASAP but some of the “kits” I’ve seen are almost $300. Just curious as to what people have done

I did a relocation myself with a $25.00 plastic reservoir from US Plastics. Got some steel wire from Home Depot and utilized the existing holes on the body to mount the reservoir. Less capacity than the OEM reservoir but it has worked for me even for week long road trips. Mine has never leaked and it's gone up pretty high in elevation at 9k+ with no issue. You'll need to drill two holes and use weatherproof silicone to seal the pumps.

1.5 Quart Natural Multi Purpose Tank with Mounting Tabs - 7.74" L x 3.62" W x 5.9" Hgt. (2.25" Neck) | U.S. Plastic Corp. and you need the appropriate cap too.

I'll post some photos later.

Thank you! Tank is like $5. Just need to know what cap to use and I’d be done.

Looking forward to pics

I didn't relocate, but I did get the protection plate from CBI when I did my bumper. Depending on the concern, it may be an option.

You can actually buy washer fluid bags with a built in pump that mount anywhere. Just run your tubing to the bottom of the bag.

I used this off amazon. Don't use the rear washers so only have it wired for my front.

No exposed reservoir, wires and pump lines dangling when you're running a high clearance bumper.

Definitely a better option than spending $250 on a kit. What cap did you say fit this?

Don't know if you found what you needed but US plastics has a list of what size cap fits whatever size tank your planning on buying. The 2-1/4" cap fits the size tank Seattle206 posted but that size is out of stock.

Are there rubber grommets that you swapped over to the holes you drilled in the new tank? Then you slide the pumps into the grommets? Haven’t disassembled my 2019 stock pump yet to see how it would work. Going to use this doorman tank to do the relo. Trying to figure out what size step bit to buy to drill the holes.
