Bought new wheels, need longer studs? rear studs on front?
Hey guys so i bought a set of Work S1HC from showstopper offroad. i was reading a lot of info about doing extended front wheel studs as there isnt a lot of bite on the lugs due to the stock short wheel studs. i tried looking into getting gorilla ET "extended thread" lug nuts but i dont think they are going to fit into my wheels. My question is how many of you are running the rear 4R studs on the front as i hear they are about 1/4in longer. Any input would be much appreciated. thanks guys
i read some guys run the rear studs on the front for that reason yep. it's been a while since I read that though. I believe in one of the wheel spacer threads its mentioned.

I can’t guarantee that using the longer studs would work with the OEM lug nuts. You’d be fine using the rear studs up front though. The matrix studs are a lot longer than the OEM front studs that come on the 4Runner. Like you, I’m running aftermarket wheels without the ability to use an ET lug nut.
