Help please: TRD Pro Fox rear shock bushing
Changing out my wife's worn out factory Bilsteins on her 2015 Pro to the current factory Fox units that come on the newer Pros.
The one difference is the bottom upper rear shock bushings (the one that goes on the bottom side of the frame, the very top bushing fits no problem). The shafts on the rear Bilsteins have flat sides, and the current metal backed bushing is cut to fit those flats. The Fox shocks have a round shaft, and the existing bushing simply will not fit on the larger round Fox shaft.
Anyone know the part# for the bushing that fits the rear Fox shocks on the bottom side of the frame (the one that sits on top of the shock)?
Called dealer and they weren't much help, their "drawing" didn't list a part#. Thanks
Update: I learned the lower bushing up top is unique for the Bilstein TRD Pro shocks, since the shafts on the Bilstein rear shocks are not round, they have flat sides. A person who is converting from the Bilstein Pro kit to the Fox Pro kit simply needs to order a standard Toyota bushing (the one that goes on the bottom of the frame) that is used on the SR5/TRD OR. I was worried for a second that the Fox kit had it's own lower side bushing, but it just uses the OEM one. Hope this helps someone down the road.
