How long have you had your 4Runner?
Since this is the longest running generation of the 4Runner, I was curious to know how long other owners have owned their 4Runner. I've had my 2015 SR5P since new so 7 years so far. I plan to keep it forever! Who's owned one the longest?

My 2005 Sport Edition (187,000 miles) lasted for 15 years. The frame rusted out so bad that it couldn't pass state inspection. I could have had it repaired so that it would pass but that wouldn't solve the rust problem.
So, I bought a 2020 TRD Off Road Premium (32,000 miles to date).

2013 SR5 purchased in December of 2013. Still have it with almost 40K miles. No issues other than the TPMS sensor batteries have failed causing TPMS light. I don't even notice it anymore! We also have a 2000 Tundra SR5 with about 140k miles.

2013 Trail ordered in July 2012 and arrived September 2012. Had many good trips on trails, sand dunes and snow. 74K miles and the extended warranty expired unused 3 years ago and still no problems or repairs.

2013 Trail bought new in Sep 2013. Best truck ever owned. Only other truck I ‘d consider trading it in for is the Land Cruiser

'13 Trail w/KDSS purchased in August of '13. 130,000 miles now and going strong. Everything that's failed so far is either suspension related or something I modified or both. I'm sure I never abused anything.....

Bought my 2010 SalsaRed Trail December 31, 2009. Only 77,000 miles and 13 years later, just as good as the day I drove it home.

We have dealer installed factory remote start on our 2017. Key fob range is short. Highly recommend heated seats.

I bought my 2014 SR5 in Dec 2014...152k on the clocks
my only want for an upgrade would be a LC200 of some ilk...
and i might settle for a previous gen Tundra CrewMax...not this latest one though.
Ill keep it for as long as it wants me to keep it. Its the most reliable vehicle ive ever owned.

Bought a 2013 SR5 4WD new and put 75K of miles on it in 10 years. Lots of road trips and adventures. Other than the driveshaft recall (under warranty) and the door lock issue - no repairs.
I was hit and truck was totaled last month . . .
2023 ORP in the driveway now - here's to the next 10+ years!

I've had my 5th gen for about 3 years and 3300 miles now. Had a 3rd gen for 22+ years previously. FZJ 80 before that, SR5 Hilux xtra cab 4wd pickup before that.
