Anyone running OME lifts?
As titled, I am narrowing down my suspension lift options for my 2020 TRD ORP W/ KDSS and I think I may be leaning towards the OME setup (nitrocharger) with either their UCA, JBA's or Accutune's they released. I was dead set on ICON (stage 1 with one of the UCA listed), but I have received caution from several vendors on the harshness of the ride, which is something that has turned me off a bit. My vehicle will be mainly on road with off road use being very light trails or fire roads to campsites. No high speed washboard roads or baja style usage. I feel the OME has some pretty good reviews, saves a bit on budget, but would still get me to my desired look/performance.
Overall plans include lift, 285/70/17 BFG AT's, stock TRD wheels, eventually a low profile bumper/winch and eventually a receiver hitch style swing away tire carrier and roofrack. It would not always be loaded down as it would be my daily.
Anyone else on here running something similar? Any negatives? I tried poking around but could not get the search to provide much on this in particular.

That is the setup I have. I originally got Toytec lift but had to swap the front for OME to support the weight of the bumper/winch. Front is OME 3inch with med springs. rear is 2 inch toytec superflex springs with 5100 shocks.

Not sure how it will compare to KDSS as I did not have that, but I wanted the stiffer ride than stock as the stock suspension had too much body roll. I have had this lift with JBA UCAs for about two years and 35k miles with no issues.

Thanks Sully! Your setup is what I’m going for as well, was also going to do the med springs due to the bumper/winch being in the future.

The OME Nitrochargers have a good reputation. I went with the Bilstein 5100s on the top perch with stock springs. The ride feels pretty close to stock but with a lift... which was fine for me. The stance looked perfect, 2.5in lift in front with just under 2in rear lift in rear with Bilstein rear springs... until I added front bumper with winch (roughly 150lbs added). I lost close to 3/4 in front lift. It still looks good, but I miss the full lift. I may try OME 885 mid weight front springs to compensate.

Only other thing I am hung up on is what UCA to go with. I am torn between the Dirt King's and the JBA's. I will be running factory TRD OR wheels for a while until I decide to upgrade wheels, but I read they will not be compatible with the JBA's which were my first choice and I would hate to have to run a spacer, just not a fan of them, so now I am thinking of the DK's due to positive feedback on here and other sites.
It seems like both should have the correct adjustability between them as they have caster built into them, just wasn't sure if there were any downsides to either of them.

Anyone running OME lifts?
Full OME nitro setup with medium springs, OME UCAs, 255/80 17 Wildpeaks on 2015 Trail with KDSS. Love it. Great on and off road. Putting Hefty Banshee bumper and winch as soon as the bumper is built.

OME HD lift with 255/80/17 tires and have been happy with it. Has handled the weight better than previous bilstein set ups I’ve used in the past

I didn't even have the first oil change on it before I had the suspension gutted. I went with Icon control arms and OME BP-51 coilovers and medium springs. I wish I could have gone 2", rather than 3", but I'm more than happy with how it turned out. I don't do much off roading, with the exception of a wrong turn, and having to navigate down a washed out road on the side of a canyon. Damn Navigation led me wrong......
Im very happy with this suspension setup, and had the exact same thing on my 19 Tacoma. My 4Runner rides amazing, which is a plus for a guy with a bad back.

I'm running OME Nitrochargers with Medium springs front/rear on a 2014 Trail with KDSS. I'm using SPC UCAs at the moment and have been happy with them in the 2 years i've had them.
In the summer it rides firm but nice, even when empty as I currently don't have drawers, an RTT or steel bumpers/winch. When I load it up with gear it rides so smooth and barely drops the rear suspension at all. I loaded up 700lbs of flooring in the back and lost about 1" of droop in the rear and it rode beautifully.
In the winter (anywhere below -20C) it rides like a tank empty and is harsh. the coils seem to have almost no flex in those temps with no weight on them, which should be resolved once I have drawers and a rear steel bumper.

Well I pulled the trigger and went with the OME medium duty setup and DK upper control arms with 287/70/17 tires on OEM trail wheels. It came out exactly how I wanted it to as far as ride height. Zero tire rubbing forward or reverse at full lock, and while being a bit stiffer and bouncier on the highway, I like it better than the sloshy body roll and nose dive characteristics it exhibited before.
