45-60mph vibration heres the story.
Just left the arizona desert 4 days ago, because I had an appointment with ECGS to install a dana 60 in the rear. While driving I noticed my newly installed air bags looked wrong, Jumped under truck noticed one was blown out AND it moved the coil out of its seat. Now this truck is too heavy for my to reseat the coil but man did I try, broke an axe handle trying. anyhoo driving along etting gas over and over and in the very last 100 or so miles noticed a heavy vibration on accelaration and its between 45-60 after 60 its gone under 45 also gone. Im wondering did The wayward spring push my pinion angle off? or isit as simple as 37s need a rebalance. I did wheel az desert, big bear Ca. and a few other spots. Im used to vibrations popping up in my 80 series this is first time in 4runner. thanks heres some recent pics of build. Getting the entire rear axle replced tomorrow just may fix everything, but if it dosent I want to know what to look for now. thankss

Vibration in your butt or vibration in the steering wheel?

I think you are correct. The vibration is either the drive shaft double cardon joint, thé u joint or the pinion bearing.

Did you get your spring back on the seat? The only way I know to do that is to unbolt the lower shock mount, then the axle will drop enough to reseat the spring.

In these situations where it’s hard to narrow down potential vibration sources I would go for the most common problem area. Which is your tires especially since you’re running MTs which are notoriously hard to balance. If all looks good there I would check drivetrain angles and as mentioned above your joints.
As an aside airbags are a terrible idea for any truck that sees heavy off-road use. They will fail it’s guaranteed. Go get OME 899s or if you need longer travel get some custom heavy springs made.

One additional thought just entered my mind. I believe you had custom driveshafts made for your dual case setup right? I would add those to the list of things to check (Balance, bolts on tight etc)
