Blue Sea Fuse Box IN-Cabin Wiring help
Good Morning All,
I wanted to mount Blue Seas Fuse Box in the cabin around the glove compartment. I have a 2017 SR5.
Last year, I ran 4awg off positive to a 100 amp bussmann circuit breaker to the Blue Seas Fuse Panel. Then 4awg off neg. to Negative terminal block. Mounted Auxbeam Switch Panel box on this same aluminum tray in rear( See photo) This relay box is wired into the under hood fuse box with an Add-a Fuse. The control switch in run threw the cabin into middle console area. This has worked great for my outside lights or any future add ons.
I have added heated seats and dash cams and want to wire these to a Blue Seas fuse box(id like around 50-60 AMPS) under the glovebox that is powered only when vehicle turns on. Running out of room in the Fuse using the Add A fuse
My question is:
How do i make this wire only ON when vehicle is running? I think i need to wire a relay but need help with this. MY Auxbeam Switch panel has a relay but that was prewired, i just had to use the Add A Fuse.
I would love to be able to put the Relay under the hood but please let me know what safest install would be.
Thank you all.
