Anyone had issues with extended spline lug nuts getting stuck to wheels?

I am looking to get a new set of lug nuts for method 703 wheels:
703 | Method Bronze – MR70378560900 – Method Race Wheels

They recommend an extended 12x1.5 lug nut
Lug Kit | 4 Wheels | Full Kit - Black – LK-W56015SEB – Method Race Wheels

The photo doesn't appear to have the extended section past the tapered end of the normal lug nut. All of the extended version lug nut sets i see on amazon have the extended section past the taper.

My concern is, I saw this video where the extended portion of the lug nut got stuck and they had to drill out the wheels to get them off, which ruins the wheels.

Definitely don't want that to happen.

I would normally just buy the method set, but I need an extra 3 lugs to mount the spare to my tire carrier, and at 66$ + tax and shipping the method set is expensive and I will need to order two full sets just to get the three extra lugs and a spare key.

So I was looking for an option from amazon and they all seem to have the extended section below the taper.

Alas, does anyone here have some insight/advice for this lug head?

some amazon options that seem to work.

Decided to just order the ones from Method and try and source 3 more like it from some other vendor once I have it in hand.
