Anyone remove the trim around the fog lights?

I installed the Lamin X on the fogs and want to remove it, but can't get to the edges to start peeling it off. Does the black plastic around it just pull off? Attached with clips? I have a 2021 TRDP if that matters. Thanks

The black plastic around the fog lights on your 2021 TRD Pro is typically held in place with clips, and can be removed by gently pulling on it. When removing the Lamin-X film from the fog lights, it's recommended to use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the adhesive, which can make it easier to get to the edges and start peeling it off. To avoid damaging the plastic or paint, be sure to use caution and gentle pressure.

If you're worried about breaking any of the bezel clips (which I usually am), you could always remove a couple of the fender liner bolts, reach up and remove the fog light from behind, giving you all the room and maneuverability you could need to get to those edges. It usually only takes a few minutes to completely remove the fog lights, just wear long sleeves or prepare for your arms to look like you tried to tame a feral cat lol.

I don't think you need to remove the trim. From inside the wheel well (remove the wheel well liner), you can access the fog lights which are easily removed.

You can reach from underneath. Lots of space behind the bumper cover.

You can reach from underneath without removing the wheel well?

Yes that's right! The pic I posted was directly under the front bumper cover. I had to replace fog light bulbs and realized I could just reach under instead of through the fender liner. The passenger side may be a bit more of a challenge but I think it's still doable. Here's the video I found on the subject.

I think it was the passenger side that has a extra cover that I recall being quite a pain to maneuver around to pull out the light...

Can you get the whole housing from there or just the bulb? I need the whole thing so I can take the Lumin X tint off.

The whole fog light assembly can be removed from the wheel wells or underneath.

Whole housing. I removed it all to put the Lamin-X on as well.
