AC Heater Damper Servo Motor for 2010 LTD

I think my blend motor is going out on the driver's side panel by the accelerator pedal. It is making a weird noise. I can't seem to find one for the 2010 4R. Thanks for any help!!

Hi tpete,

Aren't they pneumatic? If so, I would look for a vacuum leak "in-dash" before I went looking for a part that I may not need! If it ["IS"] a leaking/damaged servo actuator, there are PLENTY in the salvage-yards that-cha can P/U for pennies on the dollar! "Best to you",

After a lot of research, I have not found any that are for a 2010 4R LTD. They stop at 2009 and then start again at 2013. When I do a search of the part #063800-0172 PLS it comes up as a corolla part?? I am trying to upload a picture of the part but I'm getting an error message (I know I'll get shredded for not having a picture Also, it says it may need recalibrated, but I can't find a youtube showing that process.

Hey tpete...,

...ya did Very Well! Why not go to a local junk-yard; gotta be PLENTY of 5'th Gen 4Runners in any one of them, and they Network on-line as well(?)! Use a photo of yours for comparison (to make things easier), and let them do a search for you! This part may [May Not] just fit the 4Runner; could include, Sequoya, Tundra, Taco, Land Cruiser, Lexus...etc! You'll find one!

~rig~ Best,

It is a duel zone, but I wonder why the part number is different. I think I may take it to the dealer I go too and have them give me an estimate, that way I can get the part number from them. Also, the passenger zone is working fine, I think I only need one. Thanks for the picture, is that one you replaced on yours?

"...would be fantastic/cheaper if you could get just the D/S damper motor...!"

In case anyone is interested: Toyota makes you buy the entire servo motor assembly as a single piece for around $500. Then you have to dismantle part of the dash to install it (they wouldn't quote me a price for that All for a single motor on the driver's side that I can unscrew and reattach without taking anything off except the panel by the accelerator pedal. Needless to say, I'm not going that route and will look for a salvaged part to replace the one motor I need. Oh yeah, this is AFTER I had the dealership technician loom at the 4R and he said I needed to replace the entire master brake cylinder for 4k....what a shitshow.
