I’ve driven 1k miles and lost a small fraction. Since it’s gotten warm out it hardly leaks at all and most likely only after it cools. I can see it bead up after cooling in to spots I listed previously.
Took it in this morning and they are fixing it under warranty. Seems like we just had some bad luck here. Don't see many complaints in regards to these having water pump issues.

My water pump just started leaking at 36k miles. It’s a 2018 also

Definitely seems to be an issue with the 2018s. There was no videos online until this year on how to replace the 5th gen water pump and they were all 2018s I saw. Most look similar to mine in that they are gasket leaks not pump failures. Maybe bad gasket?
On mine I finally gave up and took it took it to the dealership. I had the parts and coolant so it was only $450 and got done in just under 3 hours. It would have taken me forever with out a lift to get everything out and put back.
On mine you can see where the gasket failed on the engine side of the top half on the inlet water housing (water pump gasket not oring)
I only put in about a quart or so over 8 months so it wasn’t a bad leak.

You'd think with 17 bolts that leaks wouldn't be a problem!
