Coolant, brake fluid and power steering fluid change and part numbers
Hi there, my 2016 SR5 is approaching 80k miles and I'm planning to replace some fluids under the hood. I change engine oil every 7500 miles, front/rear differential and transfer case every 30k. Transmission fluid done at 60k.
I checked the manual and see the coolant is super long life, #00272SLLC2, and only need to be replaced at 100k/12mon, but I also see many discussions about replacing them more often like every 30-50k. I prefer to do it earlier just to make me feel better. There's no recommended brake fluid or power steering fluid intervals and I also heard they should be replaced every 30-50k, although I don't think many people do it.
The manual suggests the power steering fluid is the same automatic transmission, Dexron II or Dexron III, part # 00718ATF00. Is that correct? For brake fluid, the part number I found is #004751BF03. Just want to confirm they are all correct.
Is there a detailed write-up for these fluid change? There are some Youtube videos but they usually don't mention the volume and part numbers. What volumes are needed for each? Any other fluids need to replaced?
