Rewire DRLs to Grill LEDs
On my 2019 T4R, I have a DRL switch on the light arm. Since I swapped out my OEM hi-beam bulbs for LEDs, my DRLs just light up the hi-beam LEDs. I would rather they light up my 4 amber LED triangles in the grill and my new fog light trim LEDs.
I know the ECU sends a PWM signal to the hi-beam bulbs for DRL, but since they're LEDs, they just rectify the pulsating DC signal and light up like they would for hi-beams.
Is there a way move that signal from the hi-beam bulbs to my grill LEDs? I realize the PWM DRL signal uses the same power wire that is used to power the hi-beam headlights, but it's directed there from the ECU.
