Anyway, I’m honestly curious why some people have problems with KO2s in the rain. In the last 20 years of having both the KO & KO2s, I’ve never had any performance or handling issues with them in light, medium or heavy rain. Maybe it’s just because drive a little more cautiously in bad weather. I would just like to the details of the conditions where they said they had problems so that I can be more aware of it.

When I say "competition" I'm referring to the tires which compete with the BFG's in the All Terrain tire category. There are numerous All Terrain tires which have better wet-traction than the BFG's. Which was the point.
For dry desert trails, the BFG would be my choice.
Maybe the BFG K03 will prove to have wet traction that competes with the better wet performing A/T's.
