Fogs not working - used 2021 ORP

Just purchased a used 2021 ORP and can’t get the fogs to work. I’m on low beam with fog switch on. Can hear the relay click on/off. Fuses under hood and inside look good/swapped for different fuses just to check.

I’m at a loss other than contacting the dealer where I bought it.

Any other ideas?

LEDs or halogen? If halogens, check the bulbs.

Try flipping the plugs. They can be plugged in either direction

If they are OEM, they can only be plugged in one way. The OEM LED fog lights are not replaceable bulbs.

Even the original OEM halogen fog light bulbs are H16 and can only be plugged in one way.

1. Check the voltage on the plug into the fog lights. If no voltage, the problem is between the fogs and the relay. If you have voltage, it will be the fog lights themselves.

2. OEM LEDs? There are two models of the OEM LED fog lights, the one shown in the above post and this one: Genuine Lexus Toyota LED Fog Lamps Set 81210-48051 81220-48051 OEM | eBay. You can tell the difference by the shape of the heat sink on the back; the first one has a smaller, round heat sink, while the latter has a larger finned heat sink. The first is made in Mexico and is known for reliability issues. The latter is made in Japan and is much more reliable.

If you have voltage on the plug that goes into the fogs, your only recourse is to replace the entire fog light; fairly easy to do through the wheel well. All OEM fog light styles, including the older halogen fogs, are interchangeable.
