Will emblem tape (like 3M VHB) stick to bedliner?

Does anyone know?

I sprayed the bumper valances on my TRD Off Road with Rustoleum spray-on bedliner, and I'm considering spraying my aftermarket TRD Pro grill bar so that it matches (color & texture). I'm concerned the TOYOTA letters may not stick well to the bedliner, though.

It is my experience that 3M double sided sticky tape sticks best on smooth surfaces, such as paint. On rough surfaces, it doesn't stick as well.

double sided tape is all about preparation. isopropyl alcohol to clean first then heat the tape and surface gently with a heat gun. if there's a lot of texture (deep ridges) you might have issues but that tape does conform. make sure you use the extreme version of 3M

FWIW I used double sided tape (scotch extreme double sided tape) to run a couple of aluminum flats on the bottom sides of my two roof top boxes and that tape was applied over a year ago. went through 2 summers and one winter and that aluminum is basically cemented on there. not lifting at all. I've used it to secure my ham radio display unit brackets at well and no issues there
