Rear 5100 install question
Installed rear 5100’s last night when done I noticed Bilstein instructions show the bottom washer facing down and upper washer facing up.
Whereas the stock shocks have lower washer facing up and upper facing down. Wondering do I need to redue per Bilstein instruction.

Watched a few videos afterwards as well, they all put them same as I. I was thinking about re-due today but my back hasn’t recovered from the other day.
I take into shop tomorrow to have the fronts installed, I’ll just have them flip while up in the air. I’m not as young as I used to be, when I did same on my 15 it didn’t hurt.

Installed 5100s on the rear today and it took about 45 minutes to complete both sides. Very straightforward and did follow instructions per bilstein. It probably doesn't matter which way the washer goes. Only issue I had was removing the brackets that held the reservoirs from the 5160s. I left one on since couldnt get it off, will try at a later date to remove it.
*little pb blaster helped remove reservoir bracket

45 that’s quick. Took 3 hours to do. Didn’t actually have the right Jack. Bottle Jack too me up to swap out then needed a higher Jack to put wheels on. Luckily my neighbor had a higher floor Jack.

I had to put my jack on a 2x4 to get the tire off. Ratcheting wrench was a life saver on this job.

On my 2015 TE, I I went up to 3rd setting and 1” cornfed in rear. Well never figured a flat and having to change in the equation. So as would happen in Dec 21 I got a flat rear passenger a week before trading in, I went to change in parking lot at work and factory Jack would get me off ground. Glad I had a jump starter/compressor in the rig. Got me home.
