I know, who the hell are you??? LOL.
Former 3rd gen owner here. Sold my 3rd gen in 2017 (I think). Had various other machines (Jeep YJ, Lexus LX470), but I am back with my first love, the 4Runner.
Here is my old build thread from wayyy back if you want to review ancient history.
I just picked up a 2023 TRD offroad Premium in Barcelona Red. I got it with 2 miles on it. I drove it immediately a couple hours away to pick up some Falken MT's (285/70/17) take offs, less than 100 miles on them...total of 5. Got them for $900 total, not a horrible price.
Along with the 4runner, I also ordered the TRD wheels in black. I am awaiting the dealer to get the proper tire pressure sensors and them I will be swapping the wheels/tires. Oh yeah, also bought some 5100's and a rear spacer to get this lifted a bit.
Now, before you go off about the cheap lift, you need to know something: This is a company vehicle. As such, I can't do serious off-roading. I can justify the need for a 4Runner, but it is harder to justify the bumpers/crazy lift, etc.
I am basically trying to "fly under the radar" with this "build". It technically is NOT my vehicle, but I get to drive it. How AWESOME is that!!
