I did not want to believe rears wear faster so gathered some empirical data. I did rotors and pads at 75k and just did pads yesterday at 150k all OEM and my results / photos are below.
All rears wore very evenly down to ~0.35"
Passenger Fronts worn down to .42, Driver front had uneven wear between pads, inside (.35) and outside (.44). Inside pad with wear indicator was squeaking at this thickness.
At least in my case rears wore faster. I confirmed both sets start out with 11.5 mm. My measurements include the backing plate thickness which is the same for fronts and rears.
Not sure why my driver front wore unevenly. Rotors seem square, clean and in good shape. Was able to move pistons back into calipers with relative ease and sliding pins were fine. Will check back in after another 75k I guess.
