Add 15 psi to tires? I don’t really know.

i bought a 1/2 inch body lift off etsy from a 4runner enthusiast. I haven't installed it, but cant imagine any problems when it comes to installing it.

Are you trying to clear big tires and there’s literally only 1/2” standing in the way?

If it’s a fender liner, it might be able to be trimmed or “influenced” with a heat gun.

If it’s a body mount, I can’t offer any advice as I’ve not run into clearance issues there, yet.

4crawler.com has a bunch of different body lift kits for all 5 gens. They have a 1/2” kit for the 5th gen. The website says delivery could take up to 12 weeks, though.

I don’t have one, so I can’t comment on the quality. My 4th gen 1” body lift kit is a Toytec.

I just want a little more space to access the top of the rear shock. I'm doing a lot of testing on the rear suspension & I need to remove the shock in different locations.

cut /trim some of the metal to give better access to the shock. I noticed while installing rear shocks a week ago that one side was trimmed by tire discounters . You can also bend it to give little more access. Just need enough space for a ratcheting wrench.

Thanks for all the replys. I ordered a 1/2" body lift, I didn’t want to trim, bend or cut the body if i didn’t have to.

Thanks again guys

Yea, I hear ya. After I sent in my self addressed, stamped envelope and money order, and waited 6-8 weeks it finally arrived. It was actually 10 days from payment to shipping, during the height of covidiocy. After seeing some pictures of some others' body lifts, it seemed 4crawler was the way to go. Some of the others don't look like they are using a lathe.

Can DIY with some UHMW plastic.
Cost me $20 for scrap at the local plastics guy.
2 different size hole saws, a hand saw and drill with a 31/64" bit.
Some elbow grease, helps if you already have tools I guess.
4th gen here though, if 5ths are different in any way, i doubt but know not.
