MATERIAL
Lasfit floor mats are made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) which is an environmentally friendly material free of allergens, BPA, Latex, PVC, lead, phthalates, dioxins, cadmium, and other notorious offenders. The benefit of them not only having an excellent floor mat is you are also using a safe product without the harmful chemicals and helping the environment.
Lasfit uses as injection molding process that allows for a flexible and soft material. This process provides a rugged durability and excellent grip for those wet, muddy, and snowy days. INSTALLATION
Installing floor mats are straight forward in the 4Runner. The Lasfit mats are designed to fit into the factory retention post on the driver and passenger side. The rear mats will just lay in place with no need to lock anything down.

FITMENT

"I have used OEM, other big brand, and now Lasfit floor mats. I can say hands down these are the best. OEM doesn't cover nearly enough area and I constantly had pull out the mats and vacuum/shampoo the carpet. Some other big brand floor mats cover more area than the OEM but not as much as the Lasfit liners. They're trash and not safe, I never received any answer or solution to my issues with the rings coming off under my pedals while driving. I love Lasfit products, but don't recommend these.

I concur with 97BlackAckCL. We both had the same issues, and they stated months and months ago that they would redesign the retaining rings and send us new mats, or at least the redesigned rings, but to no avail.

This is my opinion but those do not look much different than the Weathertech hard plastic ones that fit great but I hated. Once you clean them they are slippery as a fresh caught fish when the hook is removed. It makes for dangerous driving.

I tossed them in my back yard a while ago. I recently needed something to protect my ride and found a set I am very pleased with. It is Toyota factory TRD Pro heavy duty rubber floor mats. They cost more but are worth it. They are rubber so your feet will not slip on them at all. they also look pretty cool.

I bought them from an online vendor that was way less than a local one.

I love the look of the TRD Pro mats. My concern was the coverage. The Weathertech and Husky’s seem to be a little too stiff and slippery.

The Lasfit had a nice rubber type feel with decent coverage, but their mat locking design was terrible. Every time I would get into my 4Runner the rings would come apart and the mats would slide dangerously forward.

I just run my original carpeted Pro mats. I will seriously consider the new style OEM Pro mats.

The day I bought my 4Runner in 2015 I nicely packed up the carpeted trail mats for when I would eventually sell it. That would make for an easier sell. Things have changed since then and they will stay in my attic since I love my 4Runner and with only 36K miles on it today I will keep it long into the future.

For anyone looking for the near perfect floor mat, Husky now has their X-act Contour Floor mats available for the 4Runner. 2 Years ago when I was in the market for mats, they weren't available, but now they are.

The X-act Contour mats provide the same coverage as their other mats but with a much softer, more flexible rubber. I've used them in all my other vehicles since finding them years ago, but had to live with their harder plastic option in my 4Runner.

Funny how they keep starting new threads to hide the negative reviews....
