I was playing around with my 4Runner's door unlock settings (primarily the lock/unlock beep volume) and after this I realized that my key would no longer lock and unlock my car. The car only locks and unlocks by either pulling on the door handle twice or by the touch sensors on the door handles or the buttons on the trunk. It also no longer makes a beeping noise when I go to lock or unlock the car this way even though in the setting's the volume is turned up to the max.

What is going on? Did I accidentally turn on some weird setting that no longer allows the car to be locked or unlocked remotely with the key? I've already replaced the key battery and it didn't do anything. I only have 1 key because that's how Toyota sold it to me until the supply chain issues ease up so I can't even test another key on it. Car is perfectly fine other than this. FYI it's a 2023 with 1600 miles on it.

Any advice is appreciated!

It's brand new, still under warranty, take it back to the dealer and have them reset/fix whatever, don't tell them you may have caused the issue!

This is the plan if I can't get this sorted on my own.
