Toyota 4 Runner 5th gen front end jack point for floor jack

Hi,
Here are some pictures that may help first-time 4 Runner owners, such as myself, learn where they may place a floor jack to raise the front of the vehicle for general maintenance etc.

The pictures show the skid plate and the jack point on my 2023 5th Gen 4 Runner TRD Off Road Premium.

I had asked and learned about this a few weeks ago, so when I finally did my first oil change I used the occasion to make a few photographs that show how the jack point is reinforced and how the structure fits against the frame.

I forgot to make a picture of the frame's cross member, but it is there right on top of the jack point, so when raising the jack right underneath the circle shape you will effectively be lifting the front of the 4 Runner as if you were jacking on the frame.

Does this lift both front wheels off the ground at the same time?

Yes using this as a jack point lifts both front wheels off the ground and makes it convenient to place jack stands under the frame at the forward side jack or lift points shown in the recent owner's manuals.

The jack point Ruby Khan shows in photos is for the front.

For the rear, put a floor jack under the differential case.

Thank you. I kept seeing the diagram of the front center jack point but that is not in my 2011 owners manual. Good to know I can jack it up there.
