you've attached that hose off the compressor to what looks like a hose coming off the engine. just make sure it doesn't get too hot and melt both of them
I think the vast majority of people don't have a melting hose situation unless they are running the compressor for a long time in very hot climates in a hot engine bay. nice set up though, I tried to make my viair work in the engine bay but couldn't get it to work. the manifold addition is nice too

That hose is what the compressor came with. The compressor has a nipple or barb i guess you can call it that the hose is clamped to. No way to install a metal leader as far as I know. There’s no fittings or anything coming off the compressor just the barb. It is something I wanted to address so maybe some sort of high temp tape wrapped around it would work? Or just a higher quality air hose. Not sure.
I zip tied it to the other hose to keep them from chaffing. I believe it’s a breather hose of sorts so I wasn’t too worried but I should double check to make sure it’s not something too important.
