Is 5th gen lower ball joint serviceable?

Is 5th gen lower ball joint serviceable? Mine obviously the grease is leaking. I think I should put some grease back.

You would need to replace the ball joint (they are meant to be sealed... don't have zerks). You can add grease and that may help some but I wouldn't trust it. If you do the work yourself, a lot of people find it easier to just replace the whole LCA. You can get a used one on ebay (like a good low mileage one) for less than $200.

yes they are. company Febestparts in FL makes boots for ball joints. better replace them all before rubber starting deteriorate, approx. 80K miles. check 4Runner GRN28# 2009-up but call them. much better than go with arms replacement.
