Pedal Commander from 20 4Runner work on 22 taco?

Thinking of selling the 4runner, dad has a taco and wondering if I can give him the pedal commander off mine. You'd think it would be easy to get a straight answer from a Google search but wasn't able to find a for sure one out there. Anyone confirm? Otherwise I'm just going to remove and sell individually I suppose. Thanks.

Because I feel like they're biased and wont be honest to persuade me to buy one for a Tacoma instead.

I don’t have any experience on the matter, but they are different part numbers. They are also different engines (3.5 vs 4.0) with different ECU PNs, so it seems unlikely.

22 Taco = PC38
20 4Runner = PC27

Curiously, the 03-09 4Runner 4.0 uses the same PC38 as late model Taco…
