The heavy duty cargo tray is the rubber mat that sits ON the sliding cargo tray.

I certainly am not an expert. It gets confusing, so I will try to de-confuse.
The "sliding rear cargo deck" is a $350 option that can be installed only at the factory, it cannot be installed afterward at the port of entry or a dealer ( Build Your Own Toyota | Toyota Configurator).
The Cargo tray, $130 ( Cargo Tray - Black | Part #PT21889110 | Toyota Auto Parts) is an accessory. No accessory is ever installed at the factory, only at port of entry, the dealer, or a customer who whats to DIY.
The Wilderness Package is an accessory (after factory installation) that includes three things: Cross bars ($189), all weather floor mats ($169), and the rear cargo tray ($130). The "package" price of those three is about $450. Unfortunately, the wording in the post above says "can be customized to slide out past the rear bumper", which really means you have to also order the sliding rear cargo deck too.
It is also unfortunate, that the pictures they show for the cargo tray accessory just happens to show it with the sliding deck.

I will say that I have seen "Wilderness Packages" with different items included.
On my TRD ORP I have:
"81. Wilderness Package" which had an MSRP of $454.00, a few years ago.
It included the roof rack cross bars, all-weather rubber floormats for the front and rear seats, and a heavy rubber mat for the cargo area.
No sliding tray on my TRD ORP.

OK, thanks for the clarification Back on point - can anyone who has gotten their 4Runner lately tell me how long it took from arrival at port to actually getting their 4Runner at the dealer and whether it had any port installed accessories? TIA

Close to 60 days for mine right now, I think I'll get it this week and be right at 2 months! A bunch of ours have been waiting there on wheels/center caps tho.
Also with the tracker now broken, I just have to wait till the dealer calls.

My 23 TRD Pro was at the port for about five weeks. I ordered it January 3rd, and got my sweaty mits on it July 10th. It took almost a week after it left the port to get to the dealer.

Good news, after arriving at the port of Long Beach on 7/31 my lunar rock ORP was loaded on the train 8/26 and arrived in Denver yesterday 8/30 So not too bad - one month from port arrival and my dealer said I should be able to pick it up in a week or so depending how fast it gets unloaded off the train and trucked to the dealership

I totally understand your frustration with the car delays, especially when you're eagerly waiting for that Lunar Rock beauty. I've been in a similar situation myself, and it can be quite a hassle. If it helps, I once shipped a car across the US, and it turned out to be a smooth process. Speaking of car shipping, you might want to check out some valuable info about the Best IAAI Auto Transport In 2023 at https://truecarriers.com/blog/best-iaai-autо-transport-ship-your-car-from-the-auction/. It could give you some insights and options to consider during this waiting game.

Finally picked up my new lunar rock ORP last Saturday 9/16 so the whole process took five months after being wait listed at four different dealerships, took possession eight weeks after putting down a deposit and seven weeks after it landed at the port of Long Beach - buying a new car isn't what it used to be but at least it's finally here!

I can totally understand your frustration with the delayed deliveries. Waiting for a new car, especially when you've made deposits and planned accordingly, can be incredibly stressful.
In my experience, shipping delays can occur due to a multitude of reasons—port congestion, customs issues, even something as basic as weather can mess up the timelines. Not to get off-topic, but A1AutoTransport is a company I've dealt with for shipping a car, and they always emphasize how many variables are in play when it comes to transport timelines. They specialize in both domestic and international shipping and even they suggest accounting for potential delays when planning.

Your info says you are from India. Do you have many 4 Runners there? What is you experience with ordering a Toyota? You are, geographically closer to Japan than the US is.

A few years ago, I bought a Toyota ORP car. At the time, I didn’t know much about off-road vehicles. But I have had it for some time, and I am very grateful I bought it. I heard that 81. Wilderness Package is one of the best packages on this type of car, but I haven found anything on it.

Direct from the Toyota web site: 2024 Toyota 4Runner Accessories Packages
To me, it doesn't look like it does anything special over buying individual components. Often some of those things, like floor liners, can be bought for less money and higher quality from non-Toyota sites, such as Weather Tech.

I don't know that it is anything special. It just bundled some options that I wanted anyway, into a lower priced (vs buying individually) 'Wilderness Package'.
I like the OEM rubber floor liners and cargo liner. I also wanted the roof rack crossbars.
