i ordered mine on 10/15. cant wait to get the shipping confirmation email!!!
while on topic--lets open another can of worms. I am looking at either diode dynamics (stage series) or extreme led (X6) light bar.....I don't have a particular preference and have a feeling who ever has the best black Friday sale will be the one I go with. any thoughts??

Hows the fitment with the TRD Pro skid plates?

I wasn't able to get mine to mount with the TRD Pro skid-plate. And, I've emailed RCI four times now with no response.

Otherwise, the installation was clean and quality good.

Thank you for the response! That sucks, was really hoping this would work with the skid but guess not. I'm assuming something needs to be trimmed on the trd skid?

Just got around to installing mine yesterday. Great fit and awesome design! HEAVY with the winch on it, and attaching it to the frame when the factory plastic bumper is on (compared to other models where you attach the hybrid bumper first then put the plastic bumper back on after) was difficult with 2 people. The fit and finish is outstanding, like all RCI products. Very happy with this purchase! I tossed in a Warn 10S and a Lasfit 30" bar and they both fit great!

this isnt just a RCI issue. You have only 2 choices:

1. space down the TRD skidplate.
2. buy aftermarket skid plates that don't have that huge front skidplate lip that is iconic on the TRD skidplate.

This is basically why me and my buddy traded skid plates. He had a SSO slimline bumper that didn't fit his TRD skidplate so he took my RCI skidplate, and I had a demello full bumper that required the TRD skidplate for better front coverage.

This is something people need to be aware of, and it isnt unique to RCI.

Got mine installed 2 weeks ago. Agree, it was a challenge, even with 2 people. I think the existing bumper could have been cut without removing it.
got a great deal on diode dynamics light bar during black Friday sale.
Started on wiring today.....doing it right takes such a long time......

How long did it take you to get your bumper? I am at 5 weeks and no updates at all.

unfortunately, most companies that specialize in armor are build to order.

Not making excuses for these companies, but it is something to be aware of.

FWIW, I did get the RCI Skid Plate (aluminum) - easy install, and yes I like it better than the stock TRD plate after all.

It was about 6 weeks, so you are close! They do respond to emails, but sometimes it takes a while. I have the steel skid plates for engine, transmission and gas tank. I had the filler plate with the stock bumper, but it is not needed with this bumper (for sale soon if anyone need one)

I ordered mine about two weeks ago (RCI quoted two week-ish turn around). Do you think you can install the bumper first then throw the winch inside the front bumper with it already mounted? I have seen this is possible with other bumpers just not sure if you can get to the mounting holes for the winch with it sitting inside the mounted bumper.

i think you could install the bumper without taking off the existing plastic bumper (if you do not have the wires to worry about cutting around), but the winch does need to be installed before mounting the RCI bumper. i dont see how you could mount the winch from the top.

I also had to move the control box all the way passenger on the winch to avoid the center support.
