TPMS Sensors

Does anyone know if the Tire Rack T6 TPMS sensors will work properly with full functionality on a 2023 ORP? TIA!

On my 2013 I just replaced one sensor with Denso 550-0103 315 MHz Sensor for $30. Replaced it myself breaking down the tire with a jack and some tie straps. Programmed the TPMS with Techstream. Everything works fine and didn't cost much.

I had swapped wheels from my new 2023 ORP with the wheels on my 2015 4Runner TP that I was selling to my daughter in Denver because I bought a set of 2021 charcoal Trail Special Edition wheels for my new 4Runner. Turns out that the OEM 2023 TPMS sensors could not be registered to my daughter's 2015 TP even at the Toyota dealer and the 2015 sensors couldn't be registered to the 2023 either

So I bought her a set of T3 sensors for the 2015 at Tire Rack and had them sent to Discount Tire and they installed them for $40 and were able to register them to her 4Runner. So she mailed the 2023 TPMS sensors back to me to install in the 2021 charcoal ORP wheels that I bought and the local Discount Tire installed them along with my new tires. I ran the "change wheel set" routine and since the sensors had already been registered to my 4Runner after about five miles of driving the low tire pressure warning light went off and I can now again see the tire pressures in the Toyota app - all's well that ends well

Open the Toyota app and on the home screen with the picture of your 4Runner tap "Vehicle Status" then "See Details" under tire pressure and you should see a screen showing your vehicle from above with the tire pressure shown for each wheel

Thanks. All I see on the home screen is:
a) health and alerts
b) service appointments

But, I'm not currently in the vehicle. Is that my problem?

Maybe try deleting and reinstalling the app?

Confirming I have the same 3 options above in the app as @Durango Dave . Just checked the tire pressure for my new 2023 TRD ORP from my hotel room. Click on “Vehicle Status” >> “See Details” & the app will show pressure at all 4 corners.

What year is your 4Runner?

Might be a feature of the Connected Services - I have the trial subscription active right now but guess the “Vehicle Status” data might go away if I don’t renew the subscription after the trial ends (which is likely to happen, having tire pressure, fuel status & odometer data on my phone is neat but not worth the price of the subscription unless I find some other value in renewing and staying “connected”). My 2010 TE definitely wasn’t “connected” so I never used the app previously with it.

Thanks. It's a 2023 purchased in July.

Confirmed today no tire pressure in app. I checked app settings on phone and it says that I need to have one of those "connection" plans to see PSI. I'll just stick with my 79 cent pressure gauge.

You can get an old school analog tire pressure gauge for free at Discount Tire

Good news! I can see the tire pressures on the information display in the middle of the dash board. Toggle right or left until you see the screen showing which doors are open. Toggle down and there is a four tire PSI display. I drove with that on today and watched the pressures increase as the tires warmed up. Cool stuff (especially for somebody with an old tired back).
