thinking of the next purchase/upgrade for awhile and I've been happy with the current set up on the 2017. A slim front bumper would be a fun mod but I have no use it for .

next mods
add an amp to the factory head unit
wait till the 6112 shocks or springs give out to replace with dobinsons.

Just how clean is the pre amp on the stock head unit? If it’s not a really clean pre amp, why amp it up? Just saying.

not sure what you are referring to by clean pre amp?

If I install an amp it will be a kicker key 200.4 . When I had a sony 8100 installed I upgraded the speakers to focals and they sounded great. After installing the 2022 head unit I knew I'd lose power to the speakers. Speakers still sound good but underwhelming now. The kicker has auto/eq that will over ride the stock head unit.

Upgrade for storing the Les Paul (and the other two).
Went from storing them in their cases. A PITA to drag everything out and set up when I felt like playing. The case keeps them clean (dusty desert).
So I got a wall hanger for while at home. Plug in and play on my weekend. I play a little more often this way.
Then two more hangers so that I can "pick & choose". But still back in the cases.
So, I bought a used china cabinet. Moved the hangers in there, added rope-light. Also added humidifier inside because, well Arizona.
I'm happy with the result.

Great choice. That’s a beautiful Les Paul. I always find that a well made tool, instrument, etc. gets me to spend more time on that thing. Enjoy it!

It's the "studio" model. Not as shiny (or expensive) as the fancy versions. But plays and sounds the same to me. Those that spent $everal thou$and will say different, they may be right.
I play at home, for personal enjoyment. Jamming & gigging are many, many, many decades behind me.

Bought a few more. Rearranged where they live. The three with family or nostalgia value are in the cabinet. Added the SG clone and the box guitar to the mix.
Got "the room" set up better.

One more guitar arriving Wed.

Today bought a Badlands Apex 12,000 lb winch (synthetic rope) in preparation of purchasing front and rear bumpers.
