XM/sirius radio antenna pulled up

My 4R is a tight fit in my garage and if i dont put the garage door up all the way it can hit the roof rack (and apparently the XM antenna). Well it finally happened and I clipped the XM antenna as i was backing out and it apparently pulled up the antenna a bit (sounded worse than it looked). It seems like the adhesive tape is now lifted but the XM radio reception is fine. Mettle doesn't seem beant and i ran a bead of silicone around it so i am hoping it will be fine because i am worried about water getting in....

Just figured i would share and see if anyone else had something like this happen.
