I just do it once a year. My miles are usually under 3,000 miles.

None of the above. I go by time. Every 6 months regardless of mileage as per the severe service maintenance schedule.

I only have 2K miles on mine right now but I plan on doing oil/filter changes every 5K miles. It’s relatively cheap insurance and I’ll do a 5 tire rotation at the same time.

I’ve got 22,000 miles on my 2022 and I’m doing oil changes every 5000, which amounts to about once per quarter. Using full synthetic each time. As it’s been said before, cheap insurance, to help the Toyota last forever.

5k miles or 6 months. Usually hit time before miles.

My 2023 is finally at 5,000 miles. I don't like that the gauge cluster throws up an "Oil Maintenance Required" message; that wording flies in the face of the stated maintenance schedule. Resetting it myself despite not doing an oil change makes you feel like you're doing something wrong.

Probably Toyota hasn't reprogrammed it since 2010 ;).

2014 TR4 SR5 ownere...
from 0-100k miles...i performed the oil changes in the 10K schedule
since 100k+ i perform it evern 5k-5.5k...depending on weather
seems to work just fine for me....pushing 165,000 miles of troublefree daily driving, towing, and off roading...
but i do basically park the truck from April to Sept. and ride my motorcycle daily.

the services reminder on the dash can be programmed to whatever miles you like.
just go to settings, vehicle, maintenance , oil 1-99999 miles.
there are bunch of other and personal items you can set up yoo.
most dealer set them at 5000 on pre delivery inspection so they expect to see you every 5000 miles...

I selected 0-2999 because I’m doing them by time now. Usually just before a year. My driving habits have changed dramatically since I started working from home years ago.

Going in for my first oil change in the next couple weeks, I'm at 6200 miles and just over 10 months old.

'18 SR5, 57k miles. Oil/filter change at a family owned Pennzoil shop in town. Their windshield stickers indicate next change @ 5k miles. I generally run closer to 7.5k. Once I went the full 10k and change. No issues. I generally have the truck full serviced so that the driveshafts get lubed; it's tough on this senior citizen to crawl around and lube those zerks in the gravel and mud. Oil clear on the dipstick any time I pull to inspect. Mileage mainly comprised of dirt road and highway. The truck has no failures in its history. The same shop has serviced my '02 Tacoma TRD 4x4 for 200k miles with no issues, I gave that truck to my grandson when I bought my 4Runner, the Tacoma now close to 300k trouble free miles.

I changed the oil on my '24 for the first time at 1250 miles. Was kind of surprise how black it was. I'll do it again at 5k miles and 5k after that. Most of my driving is city driving so a lot of stop and go and way too much sitting in traffic. Not ideal conditions for oil longevity.
