I didn’t know there was such thing as progressive and digressive shock. Thanks, I learned something new.

Now that I know what terminology to look for if found this video that explains it pretty well. Shock Tech Ep. 1: Piston Designs - YouTube

After watching the video I think I would probably prefer a more linear shock. I like the sports car like handling of the Bilstein but I would prefer just a bit more softer ride when going over speed bumps and potholes.

I ended up doing kings for similar reasons and because they are rebuildable.

Just installed 6112/5100 setup last month....Hope my Bilsteins hold up! Love....and I mean LOVE the ride!

Enjoyed mine as well until both 6112s started leaking and Bilstein wouldn’t replace under their “lifetime” warranty…claimed “normal wear and tear.”
