AGM Group 34C battery post extension

So, I've been given this free Optima redtop 34C AGM battery - center terminals.

To extend them to fit my 2013 4Runner, I'm thinking of using this type of disconnect below. Many available but they seem cheap, certainly not rated to handle 700CA, more like 150A.

I really don't need a disconnect, just an extension will do.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Yeah I wouldn't trust those, I'd use something more stout like the billet terminals from R4T

R4T - Group 31 Battery Terminal

I've been using that style for at least the last 20 years with no failures on numerous vehicles..
You've pictured knockoffs.
The real USA made have black knobs with an American flag in it and are made in Illinois by GAMA Electronics
They will easily handle continuous cranking amperage.

Alternatively, just make some longer battery cables out of welding lead and tinned copper lugs. You could then bump up the wire gauge if desired. West Marine carries those or Harbor Freight has the non tinned copper ones.

BTW, $260 for that linked set is nuts
You could cut up a buss bar from an electrical panel and drill some holes and end up with real silvered copper instead of aluminum, poor choice to mix metals in that application anyway.
And in their instructional video, they tell to disconnect the pos post first, a no no.
