Bilstein 6112 Shock Leaking, Replacement Part #?

Howdy, I have a set of 6112s on the front with 5160s on the rear. The set has 28k miles and the driver's side front has started leaking. I'm a little surprised as I bought Bilsteins thinking they wouldn't need to be rebuilt as often as Kings or Fox. I would say 98% of my driving is on the street.

I'd like to be penny-wise and pound-foolish and replace just the one leaking shock, but the few places I've called and a Google search didn't turn up any part #s other than just a new set of 6112s. Do any of you happen to have the part number of the shock they use in the 6112 strut assembly? Or would you suggest I just replace both front shocks with a new set of 6112s or something comparable that would pair well with my 5160s?

Thanks in advance.

They may be under warranty.

I bought mine from Wheelers, but only found them including the coils.

The Bilstein “lifetime” warranty appears to be worthless for leaking. Went through the process of sending pics only to be told that was considered normal wear and tear for my miles. “Lifetime” seems to be subjective for Bilstein.

I’m going through similar process in selecting a replacement.

Another reason I would never buy Bilsteins again.

On another note, you can order just one but you have to call. I talked to Wheelers about it when I had one blow apart while dissembling.
