Front end noise help

I have had a front end noise happening for awhile mostly when hitting bumps and sudden shift changes from reverse to forward with hard braking. Went out to the dunes yesterday and the noise was so unbearable I finally decided to start troubleshooting issue. I have come to the conclusion that my inner tie rods are potentially bad but was wondering if anyone else could confirm or if im missing something. I have attached a video for your pleasure. I will appreciate all help given. Thank you ahead of time.

I would jack up the front end and support the truck with jack stands on the frame. This unloads the front suspension. Then shake the wheels from top and bottom and side to side - looking for noise or excessive play. Also look at the steering componets and CV joints and CV joint boots.

I’d suggest you have someone else wiggle the wheel while you use your hand to check various components for the strongest vibration, as that should lead you to the source.

First guess is the steering rack, but hard to tell by the vid what else is moving.

That’s a pretty heavy rattle for sure.

Looks like you have more than one thing worn out. Upper and lower ball joints and tie rods. Probably need to replace tie rods and both upper and lower LCAs, inclusive of ball joints. When it comes to front ends, I don’t piecemeal it. I generally replace everything as they are all interrelated and the effect of wear just compounds. Don’t procrastinate on this as it only gets worse.

I found the problem and I appreciate everyone's help. The inner tie rods were absolutely shot. I replaced them the other night and there is absolutely no more noise from front end and no more play in wheel. I had my neighbor come over and wiggle the steering wheel while I was under the checking components and the inner tie rods were moving like crazy. I had already changed out all the other ball joints and outer tie rods just never thought to change out inners. Lesson learned when changing out front end components always include inner tie rods. Thanks again for everyone's input.
