2011 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Airbag light remains on.

Fairly new at forums so pls forgive me if i screw something up.
I did a rare event and went 4 wheeling up a pretty easy mountain rd. A dead tree across the road was the only real jolt i got but not that bad. I went slow because didn't want a lot of mud to clean off in the cold. Stopped a few times to take pictures and picked up a rock for my home entrance (decoration). Is that legal in PA? Once off the trail i noticed the airbag light was on, not blinking. I did shove a couple rocks under the driver's seat earlier on the trail. then learned from google that a broken wire under the seat could cause this but didn't see, no, feel anything loose. I bought a cheapo OBD Code reader, but nothing obvious. Thought it would at least clear the light but no. Any ideas? Thank you. How will i know if anyone replies to this question?

Unsure why the light would be on, but I assume it is due to a sensor malfunction.
If you haven't already taken it in, the 2011 falls under the Takata airbag recall so the Toyota dealer will replace it for free.

He mentioned putting rocks under the driver's seat. There is wiring for the side airbag under the seat, which has likely been broken, and Toyota isn't going to fix it for free.

Going to need to remove the seat and inspect the damage. Just a few plastic covers at the ends of the seat rails, 4 bolts, a few wiring harnesses, and it comes right out. You will need a good scan tool (several hundred dollars) to talk to SRS module and get/clear its trouble codes. Usually SRS malfunctions will self clear in the event of an open circuit, once the wiring is repaired/replaced.
