Air Down Gear Up offers premium drawer, sleeping platform and kitchen systems for the 5th Gen 4Runner. We have (as far as we can tell) the only integrated, convertible sleeping platform available on a 5th Gen 4Runner, allowing you to retain your 2nd row seats and have a full width sleeping platform as needed. The sleeper deploys in a matter of seconds and features tool-free retainers to lock the sleeper in place for both the stowed and deployed positions.
Our system utilizes an aluminum frame and features all threaded, metal-to-metal fasteners. Absolutely no wood screws are present anywhere in the design, ensuring this product will last the lifetime of your vehicle.
The drawers utilize a full extension, lock in/out ball bearing slide, allowing effortless access to your high-use gear. Move-able drawer dividers allow drawer organization to be dialed in to your specific need and lock in place to be rattle free. The drawers can be paired with our slide out table, adding immense utility to your system with heat and cut resistant work surfaces. Additional work surface can be added with the removable, richlite drawer-top cutting board.
The system also features top and front access 'wings' providing additional cubby storage and access to the OEM power location.
This system is available in a wide range of configurations including a Dometic CD30 drawer fridge, sleeping platform only, a slide out kitchen (to be featured in the next post!) and a few material choices so you can dial in the perfect system for your needs.
