I'm not sure why the gen would indicate flexing or not. I thought I read about it on a 5th gen since I don't really look into 4th gen stuff. It was years ago when I saw this. I have some RCI stuff on my 4Runner and its good quality. I compared all sliders and decided Cali Raised was the best for me, even though RCI sounds cooler lol.
I love the simplicity of the Cali Raised. Plus, they were local to me. I got to see where and how they were made, and got to save $150 in shipping.
